Novato Police Share Tips to Stay Safe This Holiday Season

NOVATO, CA – To help keep the community safe, the Novato Police Department is dedicating an officer to the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center throughout the holiday season.

With an increased public safety presence and a vigilant community, the department hopes to deter criminal activity and ensure the shopping center will remain a safe place to shop and dine. To further keep the community safe this holiday season, the department shared the following helpful tips:

• Always keep your vehicle locked.
• Keep bags, electronics, valuables and any purchased items out of sight.
• Drive safely and allow extra time.
• If you see something suspicious, call the police.
