Toddlers Left Unattended in SUV; Bikini Babe Asked to Leave Hotel Lobby
The following information from Apr. 1-3, 2013 was supplied by the Novato Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

April 1
1:28 a.m. – A resident reported an older green Mercedes sedan on Bolling Circle that was occupied by two young males parked next to the resident’s vehicle. He is concerned because of recent break-ins. The subjects were contacted and said they were in the area due to Wi-Fi accessibility.
9:27 a.m. – A classroom at Marin Oaks High School on Diabllo was broken into over the weekend. A computer was found on site with a cord missing. Approximate loss was $37.

9:44 a.m. – Police were asked to do a welfare check on an apartment on the 400 block of Ignacio Boulevard where a strong bad smell was reported. The resident is not answering the door and has extensive history of medical issues. The police found the woman dead in her bedroom with no signs of trauma or foul play.
1:28 p.m. – A person working on a vacant remodel on the 800 block of DeLong Avenue left tools in the garage that were later stolen over the weekend. The garage window was pried open.

12:52 p.m. – Police were called about two children left unattended in a Black GMC. The children were approximately two and three-years-old. The parent was located and the case was taken for documentation.
5:03 p.m. – An unknown person entered the victim’s locked trailer on Railroad Avenue and took miscellaneous items totaling approximately $1,000.
5:29 p.m. – A Hispanic male and a black male were reported trying to cash a counterfeit check at a business on Grant Avenue. Police made an arrest for fraud.
April 2
8:22 a.m. – A woman described as white and blonde and wearing a bright pink string bikini was escorted out of the lobby of the Best Western Novato Oaks Inn by an employee. She said she was meeting her boyfriend but the reporting party believes she is soliciting. The woman was gone upon arrival of the police.
12:42 p.m. – Police were asked to respond to a residence on Green Oaks Drive and reports of a woman who said she was going to kill herself. When police attempted to communicate with her, she jumped off a third floor balcony. She was transported to Marin General Hospital and released to the staff.
1:37 p.m. – An unknown person accessed the passenger compartment of the victim’s locked vehicle on Stonetree Lane, opened the trunk and stole an air compressor, toolbox and car jack. Loss was estimated at $260.
4:05 p.m. – Someone broke into a house on Merritt Drive during the day and stole items from the resident’s 17-year-old son’s room including a Mac laptop.
April 3
2:50 p.m. – A burglary was reported in the granny unit at a house on Ruben Court. Loss is an unknown amount of women’s jewelry.
4:19 p.m. – A silver Toyota Tacoma was burglarized while the owner was in the Dollar Tree store in Ignacio. A partial print was left.
4:45 p.m. – A woman was reported kneeling on the railroad tracks at Redwood Boulevard and San Marin Drive. She was contacted by police and said she was collecting rocks. Police advised her to stay off the tracks.
