Traffic Alert: Portion of State Route 37 Closed in Novato

Update: As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, the closure has not been lifted, according to a social media post from Marin CHP.

NOVATO, CA – Overnight rains and extremely high tides have caused severe flooding have forced a partial closure of State Route 37 in Novato.

The section of roadway between the US-101 transition ramps and Atherton Avenue is closed in both directions, according to an advisory issued at 6:22 a.m. by the Marin Area Division of the California Highway Patrol.

It is unknown at this time when the roadway will reopen.
