Turkeys Trotting In Marin County: Photo Of The Day

NOVATO, CA — Patch reader Jim Rolka captured this picture of turkeys trotting in Olompali State Historic Park, just north of his home in Novato.

"We loved having the park all to ourselves and really enjoyed our leisurely stroll past historic buildings as we made our way to the foot of Mount Burdell," said his wife Gail Rolka. She added that they observed the turkeys engaging in a mating ritual.
