NOVATO, CA- Three suspects remain at large after a shooting near Novato that killed one victim and injured another Wednesday evening, according to a Marin County sheriff's lieutenant.

Around 5:30 p.m. deputies received a report from a victim who had been stabbed and shot near the end of Fairway Drive, off of Ignacio Boulevard.

Novato police responded and found the victim, who was transported to a hospital. They also determined the crime likely took place in an open space area on a nearby hillside, in the sheriff's office's jurisdiction.
