Vandals Slash Tires on More than 20 Parked Cars in Novato
Novato police are investigating the incidents.

The tires of more than 20 vehicles were slashed this weekend in Novato, police said.
Police responded to a report around 8 a.m. Saturday of a vehicle with slashed tires in the 1000 block of Fourth Street, Novato police Sgt. Nick Frey said.

Upon arrival, officers saw that a number of other vehicles parked along the east side of the roadway also had their tires slashed. As of around 9 p.m., Frey said more than 20 vehicles had been identified as having been vandalized.
One resident reported hearing a loud noise at approximately 5:30 a.m., but police said the specific time of the incident is unknown.

Frey said no suspects had been identified as of Saturday evening, but police are actively investigating the case.
