Video Captures Spirit of Autism Day
Novato business owner feted for her "Light It Up Blue" campaign.
Businesses and the Novato community came together last Tuesday for “Light It Up Blue,” an event designed to generate awareness about autism. Nicole Hitchcock, who owns the NH2 Salon in the Vintage Oaks Center, spearheaded the campaign. The shopping center hosted the event. Hitchcock’s son, Ramsey, now eight years old, was diagnosed with autism when he was two.
Autism Speaks, an international nonprofit agency generating awareness about autism founded the “light It Up Blue” a few years ago and helped with the Novato event.
Special Effects produced a video about the event and its importance i generating awareness about autism.
