Wagster Treats Move from Testing to Markets

Look for the Wagster Treats team at local farmers markets and find out about a new made-in-Marin dog treat with all natural ingredients. Not only are they good for your dog, but they’ll make you feel good by supporting nonprofit job-training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.

Everyone loves their dogs, but we don’t always love the list of complicated ingredients in the treats packaged for our special friends. With Wagster Treats, we’re making dog treats baked with real ingredients that are chosen with a focus on health and well-being for dogs.

At Homeward Bound of Marin, we’re already in the business of health and well-being as ingredients for changing lives. Students at Fresh Starts Culinary Academy are homeless and low-income adults building skills for employment they need to create a stable future. Our students and graduates will be involved in making Wagster Treats, helping them make lasting positive change with job skills and meaningful work.

Look for Wagster Treats and pick up a sample from our team at weekly farmers markets in Corte Madera (noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays), at the Marin Civic Center (8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays) and Mill Valley (9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays.)

Wagster Treats also are available at our Admin Office at 1385 N. Hamilton Parkway in Novato.
