Walking Through Wildflowers: Photo Of The Week

NOVATO, CA – Take a walk through wildflowers with us! Patch reader Ray Shanahan shared this gorgeous photo of wildflowers at Deer Island, a 154-acre preserve that rises above the eastern edge of Novato.

Shanahan captured the picture in early June while walking with his wife, Shirley Shanahan, through the wildflowers from the marsh area up to the island.
