A 46-year-old male illegal alien from El Salvador living in San Rafael was arrested on allegations he molested a 12-year-old neighborhood girl and jumped out a second-story window to elude police. Angel Confesor Martinez was booked on suspicion of lewd acts with a child and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $50,000. The allegations were reported Sunday evening in the Canal area. Martinez, who knows the girl's family, allegedly molested her while her parents went out for groceries, then offered her money not to tell anyone what happened, said San Rafael police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher. When the parents returned from the store, they found the girl crying outside the home. She reported the alleged crime and the parents called police. Martinez jumped out the second-floor window and ran when police arrived, but they arrested him nearby, Rohrbacher said. Martinez remained in custody Monday while the district attorney's office reviewed whether to file charges. Martinez will NOT be held for Immigration despite his unlawful presence in the United States due to the AB4 "Trust Act", which will allow him to return to the community if he posts bond, pleads to a lesser offense, or gets the case dismissed. The only way to stop our state from putting it's people in harm's way . Illegal Alien Crime is almost 100% avoidable with the right amount of citizen demand and political will.
