Young Neighbor Suspected of Ripping Off Computer
The following information from Feb. 16-17 was supplied by the Novato Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

The Headliner:
11:11 a.m., Feb. 16 – A computer was reported stolen from a home on Dusel Drive. The child of a neighbor was found hiding in the bushes and was reported as a suspect.

9:47 a.m. – A person reported seeing a woman in the street at Ruben Court hitting a man. The woman was subsequently arrested for alleged spousal battery.
11:12 a.m. – A tall man appearing to be in his 30s was seen taking a mountain bike out of the bed of a small red pickup truck parked between the Rite Aid and Safeway stores on Diablo Avenue.

2:51 p.m. – A collision resulting in a minor injury was reported to have occurred at Redwood Boulevard and Rowland Boulevard.
3:26 p.m. – A stroller containing children’s sweaters and a diaper bag was found at Palmer Drive and Redwood Boulevard.
3:39 p.m. – A large quantity of tools were found on the fire trail at Redwood Boulevard and Village Circle.
Feb. 17
1:38 a.m. – A man was reported lying on the grass in front of a home on the 300 block of San Marin Drive. Officers responded and subsequently arrested the man on suspicion of being drunk in public.
3:04 a.m. – A woman with a facial injury near her eye went inside the store at the Shell gas station at 401 Enfrente Drive. The police were contacted and subsequently arrested a male subject for allegedly inflicting the injury, which required five stitches to close.
6:27 a.m. – The front passenger side window of a 2007 silver Toyota 4Runner parked on the 1000 block of Green Oak Drive was smashed, and a Garmin GPS and pair of gray Nike Airmax shoes were stolen. The approximate value of the loss is $450.
8:29 a.m. – A video was taken of an allegedly intoxicated man trying to get into his truck in the 300 block of San Marin Drive. The man fell down and then pushed over a light on the property. A vandalism report was taken by the police.
7:46 p.m. – A silver Nissan Altima and a Ford van collided at Seventh Street and Novato Boulevard.
