• Madera County school placed on lockdown after potential threat (yourcentralvalley.com) — Yosemite High School in Oakhurst went into lockdown Tuesday after a phoned-in threat, but deputies say a full sweep of the campus and nearby area found no evidence of danger. Investigators are still tracking the source of the call, and residents are urged to report any school-related threats immediately to 911 or the sheriff’s office.
