Accused Lego Thief Arrested In Oceanside
A suspect who robbed Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo stores of over $1,000 in merchandise was arrested in Oceanside, officials said.

OCEANSIDE, CA — A south Orange County suspect who allegedly stole over $1,000 in merchandise, including Legos, was arrested in Oceanside this week, Orange County Sheriff's Department Mission Viejo Police Services officers reported.
On Tuesday Sept. 11, over $1,000 in Legos were stolen from a Rancho Santa Margarita store. Loss Prevention attempted to stop the suspect after the theft, and he abandoned the legos and left the store, but left with other stolen items, OCSD Mission Viejo said.
"He was also seen stealing over $950 worth of merchandise in Rancho Santa Margarita," they said.

According to the sheriff's department, the South Directed Enforcement Team located the suspect in Oceanside and arrested him for two counts of grand theft and commercial burglary.
As of this report, it was unclear as to if the items were recovered.
