Art Exhibit by Local Metalworker

Buena Vista Audubon Hosting Art Exhibit of Local Metalwork Artist

OCEANSIDE - The Buena Vista Audubon Society (BVAS) is hosting a free art exhibit of 25 metal bird sculptures made from local metalwork artist Paul Weber. Mr. Weber has been known in the North County art community for over a decade with his unique metal sculptures, including abstract work and bird sculptures. His work has been exhibited in venues including the Oceanside Art Gallery and Oceanside Museum of Art.

Mr. Weber's bird sculptures will be displayed in the BVAS nature center from August 6-21 during the center's regular operating hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-4:00 pm, Sunday 1-4 pm), and there will be an opening reception Friday evening, August 5, from 6:30-8:30. Light refreshments will be served.
