Ash is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1-1/2 year old, 73 pound, male, Siberian Husky mix.
Ash was transferred from a shelter in Riverside County through the FOCAS program. He was available for adoption when the Holy Fire broke out. As evacuated fire pets began to arrive, the shelter ran out of space. They called Rancho Coastal Humane Society and asked if they could send some of their pets to create room for the fire victims.
Ash is all Husky. He’s super smart and full of energy. This is not a dog for a couch potato. His family will need to make sure he gets plenty of physical and mental exercise to keep him occupied.
