150-Acre Brush Fire Burns At Camp Pendleton
BREAKING: At least 60 firefighters are fighting the flames. There are no evacuation orders, officials said.
CAMP PENDLETON, CA – A brush fire burned 150 acres Tuesday on the northwestern edge of Camp Pendleton, fire officials said.
Camp Pendleton and Orange County Fire Authority officials reported about 4 p.m. that the blaze had burned more than 5 acres east of Cristianitos and San Mateo roads. The flames spread to 30 acres around 5 p.m. with at least 60 firefighters fighting the flames.
As of 7:30 p.m., the fire had steadily spread to 150 acres as crews set several backfires around the perimeter of the fire.

No one has been injured and no evacuations have been issued, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
