BUENA VISTA AUDUBON PELAGIC BIRDING SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11

This 12-hour pelagic trip out of San Diego harbor comes at the height of fall migration for many species.

Sunday, October 11, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m (check-in 5:30-6:30 a.m.). This 12-hour pelagic trip comes at the height of fall migration for many species. We will visit the 9- and 30-Mile Banks in San Diego County waters, with a possible brief foray into L.A. County waters to pursue Storm-Petrel rafts. Other species we may see include the Craveri’s murrelet, the scarce red-billed tropicbird, Buller’s shearwater, and south polar skua.
See sandiegopelagics.com for registration and important trip information. The trip will be on board the Grande out of Point Loma Sportfishing. Call Point Loma Sportfishing (The Landing) 7 days a week at (619) 223-1627, and tell them you wish to make a reservation for a birding trip on the Grande. COST: $135.
