Marine Killed, Another In Custody After Camp Pendleton Stabbing
One Marine has been arrested in connection with the incident, officials said.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA – A Marine was killed and another was in custody Tuesday after a stabbing at Camp Pendleton.
The stabbing was reported about 7:45 a.m. at an infantry-training facility at the military base in northern San Diego County, Capt. Josh Pena said.

"Camp Pendleton first responders responded to reports of a stabbing in the 52 Area of Camp Pendleton this morning," Capt. Brian Villiard, a Camp Pendleton spokesman, told Patch. "Unfortunately, the victim did not survive."
The Marine belonged to the School of Infantry West, Villiard said.

The names and ranks of the victim and suspect, as well as details surrounding what led to the stabbing were not released.
Naval Criminal Investigative Service is investigating the incident, Pena said.
