COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS INSTITUTE OF SAN DIEGO RAISES SUPPORT FOR HEALTHY LUNGS AND CLEAN AIR

Homeowners, Managers and Business Partners Team up for a Vertical Road Race in Support of the American Lung Association

San Diego, CA – March 29, 2015 – Community Associations Institute (CAI) joined the American Lung Association (ALA) this week for one of their signature fundraising events, the Fight for Air Climb, in downtown San Diego. Together, CAI San Diego’s team helped to raise over $1,800 dollars through this unique “vertical road race” up the 657 steps of One America Plaza.

Sunday marked the fifth annual San Diego Fight for Air Climb. Supporters of CAI San Diego and ALA still have time to donate – teams are given an additional 30 days to continue raising funds after race day. Donate to CAI’s team by visiting www.fightforairclimb.org, searching for San Diego’s race and donating to CAI San Diego through the “Donate” box located on the right side of the home page. Eighty-one cents of every dollar raised will be used to fund education, research and advocacy for lung disease and clean air.
