Patch readers were shocked and saddened by the fire that ravaged the end of the Oceanside Pier. See before, during and after photos.
OCEANSIDE, CA - The fire that engulfed the old Ruby's Diner at the end of the Oceanside Pier is still under investigation, but locals were quick to share their experiences and photos with the Patch.
Fire crews and boats from across the county worked tirelessly to contain the fire at the end of the pier for over two days.

The aftermath of the fire shows that both the old Ruby's Diner building and the newly built Brine Box were completely gutted by the flames.
