Cowboy is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 10-month-old, 81-pound, male, Great Dane mix.
Cowboy is a really big puppy. His owners surrendered him to a shelter in Riverside County when he got too big for their apartment. He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Services) program.
He was adopted, then returned when his family saw that he had more enthusiasm than they wanted, and he wasn’t getting along with their cats.

Cowboy needs a family that has the time, strength, and energy to keep him physically and mentally active and socialized.
The $145 adoption fee for Cowboy includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if the adopter lives in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
