You can’t control or predict a disaster, but you can take steps to keep yourself and your loved ones safe, minimize the impact of a disaster, and recover more quickly.

Are You Ready North County? – Encinitas Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Understand the risks specific to North County and learn what you can do ahead of time to minimize the effects of a disaster on your home and your family. See which supplies to have on hand to last up to 72 hours and learn how to work together with your neighbors in emergencies. Building a safe, prepared, and strong community is the goal!

Roadmap to Preparedness − United Policy Holders
Tools, tips, and suggestions to help you make smart insurance decisions that leave you properly insured and able to recover after a disaster. Learn what helps fire fighters save homes during wildfires and what important documents to scan and secure.

Emotional Resilience During Disasters − Gianna Muir Robinson, MFT
With experience in counseling those affected by San Diego wildfires, Gianna will share common emotional reactions to impending or real disasters in both adults and children. Learn tips to cope, when to seek help, and how to talk to your kids.
