Kazoo is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

This puppy was a stray.

Kazoo is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3-1/2 month old, 24 pound, male, miniature Schnauzer mix.

This puppy was a stray in Imperial County. He was picked up and taken to the Department of Animal Control then transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

He greets everyone who approaches his kennel with wiggles and wags. His family will want to continue his training.

The $195 adoption fee for Kazoo includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip. April 22nd is Earth Day. A great time to adopt a “recycled” pet from your Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas and to visit your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Thrift Shop at 120 Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff by the Sea. The “Happy Tails Reading Program” for April takes place on Friday, April 26th from 4 to 5 PM at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Children from 6 to 12 years old read out loud to the adoptable cats, dogs, and rabbits. Limit of 8 children per session. Cost is $5 per child.
