What are Joy Guides? Well they are wonderful little sparkles of fun directly from the Divine to help stop time so you can enjoy precious moments. For instance, Joy Guides are plentiful when there are puppies, kittens; all baby animals and humans around who spontaneously make you smile and chuckle. But those are the obvious visitation times.
They also visit through happy memories or jokes you make up in your mind. Comedians have lots of Joy Guides directing their attention to funny situations that inspires them to craft a story so well it will make people laugh and maybe even lead to fame.
Everyone has Joy Guides around no matter how grumpy they are. You don’t have to know their names or pray for them to visit they just show up all day every day. They direct your mind to delightful moments happening around you to help raise your vibration through smiling and chuckling.

My Joy Guide visited me late last night while I was in my backyard letting my two little dogs sniff around for the last time before bed. I live in a senior mobile home park and all my neighbors were tucked in. All I could hear was the faint drone of the 11 o’clock news a few spaces down.
While looking at the moon, Beyonce’s song ‘all the single ladies’ came to mind. Then, in my mind’s eye I saw her dancing. One video in particular was the one she did laying in the sand at night while the sea waves pushed her around like God himself was dancing along side. Her hair was wet and skin gleaming… then, I remembered her famous head roll / hair flick move.

I looked around to see how far along my sweet pups Newman and Franklin were with their last call and found them still distracted around the hedge, so I decided to try Beyonce’s head roll / hair flick myself! After checking for open drapes at my neighbor’s house I bent my legs and put my hands on my knees. As luck would have it, I had just gotten out of the shower so my hair was just as wet as in the video! I leaned forward then moved my weight onto my right side then…. jerked myself quickly to the left and up, finishing with a right head hook at the end!
Based on the fact that I was alone, IT WAS PERFECT!! But the story doesn’t end there. After my absolutely triumphant Beyonce head roll / hair flick I slowly stood up and raised my hands high over my head, and arched my back as if I had just made a 10 point landing off the balance beam.
THAT is how my Joy Guide and I had a little laugh with each other at the end of a beautiful day. Franklin, Newman, Green Leaf (name of my Joy Guide) and I walk back into the house refreshed in every way.
