OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside Council meeting on Wednesday, September 1st is a joint meeting of the Oceanside City Council, Oceanside Small Craft Harbor District Board of Directors, Oceanside Community Development Commission, and the Oceanside Public Financing Authority.

The meeting agenda includes 19 items ranging from proclamations to approvals for medical cannabis manufacturing and distribution facility.

Proclamation - Recognition in Honor of Oceanside High School Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, and Boys Swimming

Item 7. Approval of Agreement with M.W. Steele Group to add construction drawings and related services for the Civic Center Library Courtyard modifications and completing both the Courtyard construction and landscape work and the Library Story Corner/Craft Area modifications.

Item 8. Approval of Amendment to the Agreement with McAlister Institute, Inc. for the Sobering Services Center.

Item 9. Approval of Amendment to the Property Use Agreement with the North County Model Railroad Society for a portion of the premises located at 220 Peyri Road within Heritage Park for the purposes of providing an interactive and educational model railroad experience to the public and extending the termination date of the Property Use Agreement to February 28, 2029.

Item 11. Approval of an Agreement with RECON Environmental of San Diego to conduct biological monitoring and reporting services for Phase I and II re-mowing and invasive plant removal within the San Luis Rey River Flood Control Project.

Item 14. Adoption of a resolution approving Conditional Use Permits and a Waiver of Locational Requirements to allow a medical cannabis manufacturing and distribution facility within an existing building located at 2420 Industry Street.

Item 15. Adoption of a resolution establishing the fees for overnight oversized vehicle parking permits in the City of Oceanside at five dollars ($5.00) per night and one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per month.

Item 19. Adoption of an ordinance amending the Oceanside Zoning Ordinance (ZA21-00001) and the Oceanside City Code to remove the 500-foot separation requirement from a residential district if an intervening freeway (I-5) or State highway (SR-76, SR78) is located between the proposed tattoo establishment and that residential district.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Members of the public who elect to attend in person are required to wear facial coverings in City facilities and maintain appropriate social distances, and may be required to wait in a holding area to maintain capacity restrictions.
