OCEANSIDE, CA — Patch reader Ryan McKinney captured this photo south of the Oceanside Pier in April 2021.
Ryan and I were born and raised in Oceanside. We met as kids, playing in the neighborhood, when we were eight. We now have three kids of our own. This picture is our son Jackson (3 years), sprinting toward the water.
