Oceanside's Friday Art Walk Starts Soon

The Art Walk is a free event featuring live performances, music, poetry, art education, culinary samples and pop-up art.

See an Artist…Be an Artist at the Oceanside First Friday Art Walk

Oceanside, California – March 24, 2017 – Not only can you see dozens of talented local artists at the Oceanside First Friday Art Walk on Friday, April 7th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm…you can also be an artist by collaborating in the first “audience participation” art walk to be held in downtown Oceanside.

“We really wanted to try something new and different this time to encourage our attendees to participate in the Art Walk and let them add their mark to the Oceanside art scene,” said Susan Brown, president of the Oceanside Friends of the Arts. Art supplies will be available in Artist Alley for interested attendees and the artist’s will provide suggestions for adding to the canvas “art in progress” as they walk through the more than 15 venues. The Oceanside Friends of the Art will document the original creations and make replica post cards and note cards from them available for purchase.
