A body was found in the water near Guajome Lake in Oceanside after police received a report of a foul odor in the area.
OCEANSIDE, CA — Oceanside Police found a body in the water near Guajome Lake in Oceanside after receiving a report of a foul odor in the area, according to an OPD Twitter alert.
At 11:30 am on Wednesday, OPD received a call of a foul odor in the area of Guajome Lake.
Responding officers located a deceased person in the water. OPD Detectives and Medical Examiner are on-scene conducting an investigation. Please avoid the area at this time.
