Oceanside Theatre Co's Youth Academy Produces Fiddler on the Roof

A ‘sneak peak’ of our rehearsal because we are blown away by the talent of this young cast.

Oceanside Theatre Company’s Youth Academy presents Bock and Harnick’s heartwarming musical Fiddler On The Roof Jr. Thirty-nine north county teens, ages 6-15 create a moving and charming story that reveals the power of family, love and tradition.

Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with tradition in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Its celebrated score, by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, features songs loved the world over, including “Tradition,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

All tickets are $12 children under 5 are free
