Oceanside Woman Killed in Highway Crash is Identified
A young woman killed on Highway 76 has been identified as the mother of an infant boy.

A 20-year-old woman killed after her vehicle struck a rock wall on Highway 76 has been identified by San Diego County Coroners as Christina Marie Stone of Oceanside.
The crash was reported at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 20. Stone had been eastbound on the 76 when her 2005 Honda Civic veered out of control just east of Poomacha Road in Pauma Valley, coroner’s officials said in an official news release.
The Honda struck the wall and its young motorist was thrown from the vehicle, officials said. She died at the scene.

Stone is survived by her family that includes an infant son, according to a memorial page created in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the young woman’s family asks friends and loved ones to donate to an educational fund for her son.
