Pumps Cat is Pet of The Week at Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society

This cat was named after a pair of shoes.

Pumps is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 1 year old, 9 pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat.

Pumps was recently transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program.

When she first arrived, Pumps was hesitant in her new environment. She seemed very suspicious of her neighbors in the cattery.

She sniffed everyone and everything. She would even open her mouth wide while she sniffed so she could inhale the full aroma.

She didn’t pay much attention to the other cats, but Pumps got along pretty well with her friend, Loafer. It made sense to name her Pumps since her buddy was a cat named Loafer. He has been adopted. Now it’s time for Pumps to find her new home.
