Rose Hills To Host Fifth Annual Veterans Resource Fair & Homeless Veterans Memorial Service
March 22 events commemorate Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, provide vital information, and honor the lives of four American heroes.

Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary will host its fifth annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day events on March 22 at 2:30 p.m. The events will include a resource fair, clothing drive, barbecue and homeless veteran memorial service.
Respective event details are below:
• Veterans Resource Fair and Clothing Drive (2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.) -- Partners will address the most critical needs of veterans from all conflicts and from all branches of the military. The clothing drive will benefit Working Wardrobes.
• Barbecue and Concert (4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.) -- Food and drinks will be available for purchase, all funds will benefit local veterans charities. Two or More will perform.
• Homeless Veterans Memorial Service (6 p.m.) -- Four American heroes will be honored in this service and highly-decorated Marine Corps. 1st Sgt. Patrick S. McClellan will serve as guest speaker. McClellan has been deployed to Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq, and has also served domestically in the Global War on Terrorism. He has been awarded more than 20 military honors and more than 15 stars.
“It’s an honor to be a catalyst for bringing vital information and services from more than 40 businesses and nonprofits directly to our veterans, while collecting much needed clothing for those seeking employment,” said Bruce Lazenby, executive director of business development at Rose Hills. “We hope that members of the community will join us in supporting veterans at these events.”
