Rover is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

He's sensitive.

Rover is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a

1-1/2 year old, 50 pound, male, Black Mouth Cur mix.

Rover is a little bit sensitive. His new family will need to give him some time to settle in to his new home. Once he’s comfortable, Rover is going to need plenty of physical and mental stimulation to help use up his energy.

He’s apprehensive whenever someone raises their hand above him. His adopters will need to make sure he gets plenty of positive reinforcement for all the great things he does to make them happy.

Rover was transferred from a Texas shelter through the FOCAS program.

The $145 adoption fee for Rover includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip.
