Satchmo is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 7 year old, 11 pound, male, Chihuahua mix.
Satchmo was a stray in Riverside County. When the shelter contacted his owner, he said that he couldn’t take Satchmo back and he needed to surrender his other dog due to family issues.
Satchmo is playful. He’s always ready to go to the dog park. He likes other dogs. The care providers say that he’s very social and kind of a “busy body.”

The $75 adoption fee for Satchmo includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip.
