Shark Tangled In Fishing Lines Off Oceanside Freed By Fishermen
Local Fishermen free great white shark entwined in fishing lines off the coast of Oceanside.
OCEANSIDE, CA — Sean Bailey and his father snagged more than just a fishing trip on their recent outing off the coast of Oceanside. Instead of catching fish, they found themselves rescuing a great white shark that was tangled in fishing line.
In a video shared on YouTube, Bailey said the shark was swimming in circles around his boat while he and his dad were fishing about a 1/2 mile off Oceanside. Bailey’s father steered the boat as Bailey removed the wires that were wrapped around the shark. Credit: Sean Bailey via Storyful
