Students at Discovery Isle Preschool Celebrate Earth Day

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Oceanside recently celebrated Earth Day by creating a mud kitchen play center using donated recycled materials. Students worked with parents to build the new play space using recycled materials like wood, pallets, pots and pans. Students helped with tasks like sanding wood and assembling mud kitchen accessories, and will make use of the new structure during their daily playground time. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and environmental consciousness at a young age.
