Students at Discovery Isle® Preschool in Oceanside Plant Gardens

In celebration of Earth Day, students planted flowers and fruit trees throughout the schoolyard to celebrate the environment

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Oceanside recently planted flowers and fruit trees in gardens around their schoolyard to celebrate Earth Day. Parents and teachers helped students dig, add soil and water the plants. Throughout the spring, students will continue to care for the gardens as the plants grow. Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about the importance of caring for the planet and created art projects using recyclable materials. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
