Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Oceanside Repurpose Tires to Beautify School Grounds for Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day, students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Oceanside recently spruced up their school’s garden using recycled tires as planters. Students cleaned and painted the tires before placing them in the garden and using them to plant fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. Students worked on preparing the garden for a week and will continue to help maintain it as the plants produce fruits and vegetables. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
