Super Girl Surf Pro Results Plus Sundays Line-Up In Oceanside
Day Two wrapped up surfing in Oceanside with Team USA Olympian Caroline Marks earning the highest score of both days. Sunday is final day.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro day two wrapped up Saturday with the best surfing of the competition as Team USA Olympian Caroline Marks earned the highest score of both days, riding an opening gem of a wave to garner an impressive 8.5 in round 3. The 19-year-old powerhouse generated incredible speed owning each turn as she ripped the wave that just kept on going.
"I love that there's an event here again! I really enjoyed this wave and sleeping in my own bed," laughed Marks, a San Clemente native. " I hope this is the year. I've been so close to getting that cape, but I'm just focusing on surfing really good every heat. My board feels great and I'm having so much fun and it'd be sick to take this thing out."
Marks is on the prowl for her first-ever Super Girl cape, coming (super) close with two Semifinal appearances in 2017, 2019, and runner-up in 2018. She’ll be battling top seeds Tatiana Weston-Webb and Coco Ho, former Super Girl champions; Tia Blanco from The Ultimate Surfer TV series; as well as the next generation of talent: 2020 local champ, Caitlin Simmers from Oceanside, Huntington Beach’s Meah Collins, and Encinitas local Alyssa Spencer, who is the current North America No. 1.
