
“Thanks” is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3-1/2 month old, 4 pound, Domestic Short Hair kitten.
Thanks and his sister, “Giving,” were transferred Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
Kittens who arrive at Rancho Coastal Humane Society too young to be separated from their mothers or each other go into private care with trained foster volunteers. When they become 8 weeks old they’re spayed or neutered then made available for adoption.

Kittens 8 to 11 weeks old need extra attention. They often do better if you adopt two kittens together.
The $125 adoption fee for Thanks includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip.
