Thing One is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

He used to be Shaggy.

Thing One is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 2 year old, 89 pound, male, Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull mix.

Thing One and his brother, Thing Two, were Shaggy and Scooby when they arrived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. They were adopted, then returned when their owner left them behind. There were other animals at the shelter named Shaggy and Scooby, so they were renamed after characters from “The Cat in The Hat.”

Thing One’s new family will want to continue his training and give his plenty of positive reinforcement. He needs lots of physical and mental exercise.
