Warrior is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

He's coming out of his shell.

Warrior is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3 year old, 8 pound, male, Domestic Short Hair cat with a White and Brown Tabby coat.

He was transferred to RCHS from another shelter through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. In the other shelter, he lived with another cat. That cat swatted at Warrior. He responded by lying down and avoiding the other cat. He was shy after that, but still loved when the care providers would pet him. Now that he’s settled in, Warrior is coming out of his shell. When he wants attention, he talks.

The $100 adoption fee for Warrior includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday.
