- Beer Town is a new beer and food joint opening in Downtown Oceanside Saturday. Beer Town will offer a full taproom and bottle shop specializing in under-represented beers from outside the San Diego area. According to its website, the mission at Beer Town is to bring beer to the Oceanside and San Diego County area that otherwise may not find its way here and to create a comfortable space where people can enjoy a weekend brunch with the family or grab a unique craft beer with dinner after a long workday. - Marines, families, and athletes alike gathered in the amphitheater at the Wounded Warrior Battalion West's main campus to celebrate the 2022 Marine Corps Trials' competitors on March 9. A total of 53 athletes representing U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Battalion West participated in the week-long competition. The competitors, comprised of both active-duty and veteran athletes, competed in 12 adaptive sports. - Alistair Brownlee is ready to make his long-awaited return to race action at IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside next month.
