• Sage Fire Burning off US 395 in Olancha Eastern Sierra Now (easternsierranow.com) — A vegetation fire dubbed the Sage Fire is burning off US‑395 near Olancha, reaching about 30 acres but with forward spread stopped by Tuesday afternoon, according to CAL FIRE. Earlier in the day, smoke affected both directions of Highway 395 and threatened at least one structure as air tankers and a helicopter worked the blaze. Residents should stay alert for changing smoke and travel conditions.
