Semi Plunges Off 10 Freeway Connector Into Construction Zone (onscene.tv) — A semi‑truck cab plunged off the westbound 10 to southbound 15 connector in Ontario early Sunday, heavily damaging the vehicle but leaving the driver uninjured. Ontario firefighters, CHP and ConFire EMS responded, and Caltrans was called to assess guardrail damage as investigators look at wet roads as a possible factor.
   

2. WWE Working on Plan to Boost Ticket Sales (wrestlingnoticias.com) — WWE is planning to boost live ticket sales by adding more star‑studded dark matches, including a special six‑man bout advertised for the Oct. 23 SmackDown at Toyota Arena in Ontario. Local fans can expect Oba Femi, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa taking on The Vision as an extra in‑person attraction beyond what airs on TV.
   

3. California man sexually exploited children online in Kansas (hayspost.com) — A 22‑year‑old Ontario resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to sexually exploiting minors online, including a child in Kansas, after contacting dozens of victims through social media and video calls. Prosecutors say he posed as a peer to coerce explicit images and live videos, and he now faces sentencing in January 2027.
   

4. Why Sonoma County airline passenger volume is up 47% from a year ago (pressdemocrat.com) — Air service changes in Santa Rosa include Alaska Airlines ending flights to Ontario in Southern California on Oct. 31, which could affect your options for visiting wine country or connecting through the North Bay. The airport is rapidly expanding, adding new routes, a motorcoach link to SFO, and long-term terminal and rental car upgrades to handle booming passenger demand.
