1 Dead In Shooting, Several Detained In OC
The shooting was reported at around 4:20 p.m. in the area of Orangewood Avenue and Court Street in the City of Stanton.
STANTON, CA — One person was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Stanton Friday.
The shooting was reported at around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the area of Orangewood Avenue and Court Street in the City of Stanton.
Officers arriving found one adult man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A second man was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries related to the shooting, police said.
Several people were detained at the scene and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
