1 Killed, 1 Injured In Garden Grove Collision
A man and woman were ejected from the car, police said.
GARDEN GROVE, CA — A man was killed in a major traffic collision in Garden Grove and the Garden Grove Police Department Saturday is continuing its investigation.
Police responded at 10:05 p.m. Friday to reports of a silver Toyota Corolla traveling recklessly southbound on Euclid Street from Katella Avenue.
Several minutes later, the department received additional reports of a collision involving the Corolla in the 12700 block of Euclid Street, said Sgt. Nick Jensen.

Officers arrived at the scene of the solo-vehicle crash and located a man and woman who had been ejected from the Corolla, police said.
They immediately began life-saving measures on both parties before personnel from the Orange County Fire Authority arrived and took them to UCI Medical Center, where the man was later pronounced dead, according to Jensen.

The condition of the woman was not known.
The investigation to determine the cause of the collision has been assumed by the department's Neighborhood Traffic Unit, Jensen said.
