2 Men Gunned Down In OC Neighborhood, Shooter At Large
The shooting left one man dead and another hospitalized after it was reported Sunday afternoon, Orange County Sheriff's deputies say.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A gunman was at large in Stanton Monday after two men were shot Sunday, leaving one dead the second injured, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the scene in the 10000 block of Fern Avenue at 3:12 p.m., the department said, and upon arriving to the scene found two men suffering gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Both men were taken to a local hospital for treatment, and one man succumbed to his injuries. His name was withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

The second man went into surgery, authorities said, and his current status is not known.
Authorities searched the area but were unable to find a suspect, the OCSD reported. Authorities have no description of the gunman or a possible motive behind the shootings.
