ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A husband and wife were assaulted outside of their family home in Orange County before being robbed by unknown assailants, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Vijay Wali and his wife, Jyotika, were exiting their white Tesla at 7:48 p.m. Friday night outside of their Fullerton family home when Vijay was punched and tossed to the ground by a suspect in an act he called "45 seconds of horror," the newspaper reported.

A second thief stole Jyotika's cash, cell phone, purse and a bag containing precious family heirlooms. She told The LA Times that the incident was "terrorizing" and left her fearful of trips to the grocery store.
