5 Kittens Saved From OC Apartment Fire
Firefighters rescued five young kittens from a smokey fire in a garage at an apartment fire in Westminster.

WESTMINSTER, CA — Firefighters plucked five young kittens from a fire that had broken out inside a three-car garage adjacent to an apartment complex in Orange County on Wednesday, officials said.
Crews were able to "rapidly" knock the fire down and prevent the Westminster apartment complex from catching fire, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Fire officials said the kittens were healthy and appeared to be coping well.

Firefighters were still working to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze, authorities said.
